Business Operations Specialist

Hudson Institute of Process Research ("HIPR"), a multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in software design and research, information technology, business process outsourcing (BPO), and staffing and recruiting is currently looking for a Business Operations Specialist. Job Description

  • Manage the workflow throughout the business operations in order to optimize daily activities.
  • Train and supervise any incoming business operations and paralegal staff.
  • Monitor the business process for legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Sort and prepare clients’ materials in an effective and efficient manner for submission to the USCIS, and solve complex problems relating to the business workflow operation.
  • Review passport and visa-related documents to help identify potential sources of filing errors.
  • Retrieve saved documents from the client’s internal account, as specified in the client’s petition letter.
  • Work on all I-485 cases and handle I-485 RFEs.
  • Communicate with clients regarding the preparation of materials in the Case Management System.
  • Assign and edit technical/legal documents and letters based on internal materials.
  • Revise documents according to internal specifications and client feedback.
  • Perform other business operations duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, political sciences, or public administration, a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding client service skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Access Database Management.
